On the afternoon of May 14, 2026, Wuxi Youfang Electric Co., Ltd., together with its major shareholder Wuxi Passenger Transport Group Co., Ltd., held an exchange symposium with the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The meeting was successfully convened in the conference room on the third floor of the group building.

Xiao Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman, Yang Yuling, General Manager, and Lu Huawei, Deputy Party Secretary of Wuxi Passenger Transport Group attended the meeting. Yuan Ping, Researcher and Chief Engineer of the Accelerator Center, Ni Dongsheng, Senior Engineer and Deputy Director of the Magnet Technology Laboratory of the Accelerator Center, and Engineer Wang Guoqing from the Institute of Modern Physics, CAS were invited to participate in the discussion. Chen Changhao, Chairman, Wang Jun, General Manager and Qiu Beibei, Chief Engineer of Wuxi Youfang Electric Co., Ltd. also attended the symposium.

During the discussion, all parties introduced their respective business operations, development strategies and cutting-edge research achievements in turn. In-depth discussions were carried out focusing on industrial development and technological research and development. All sides expressed the intention to conduct cross-border collaboration and pursue win-win cooperation.

After the symposium, the visiting delegates paid an on-site inspection and communication tour at Youfang Electric. The enterprise displayed its core products and technical samples on site. The experts from the Institute of Modern Physics highly recognized the superior product quality, robust research and development strength and fruitful innovation achievements. The delegates visited production workshops and R&D offices, and inspected the production processes, technological innovation system, industrial layout and long-term development plans in detail. They gained an intuitive understanding of the enterprise’s core competitive strengths, laying a solid foundation for targeted project docking and in-depth cooperation in the future.

Going forward, all parties will further advance the integrated development of industry and scientific research, integrate high-quality resources, accelerate the industrial transformation of advanced research findings, and explore cooperation opportunities in emerging fields.
